Shell RUST Program

Claybar has been participating in the RUST (Replacement of Underground Storage Tanks) program with Shell since 2017. The typical scope takes 6-7 weeks and is a complete station shutdown for the duration.

The general scope includes:

Excavate and remove existing underground fuel tanks – Install new (Owner supplied)
Excavate and remove underground fuel piping – Install new
Remove existing dispensers, break and remove concrete islands & apron, remove canopy column cladding – Install new
Form and pour concrete for tank pad, canopy apron and islands
Commission all equipment, pave site
